But once i watched all the appropriate videos by the guys at ultimate drone fishing i was confident enough to go out solo and have a go! This surpasses everything
I bought my Ex2 6s in NZ, however I have had great communication from Tony for the rod I want from him. This machine is utterly fantastic. I've flown drones for over 12 years and this surpasses everything. Daylight between this and the rest.
After reading the reviews and then eyballing these beautifully finished rods I took the plunge, and couldnt be happier. After catching fish and then hooking 2 big rays, the Valkyrie took all of my 100 plus KG's of grunt and applied it smoothly and evenly. Highly recommend the rod and couldnt be more glowing of the service from Tony at Ultimate Drone Fishing.
I've been using the Oannes Valkyrie now for about a year and throughout this time I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Over this time I've landed a fair few species with it including Flathead, Pink Snapper, Sharks, and Rays and each time the Valkyrie has performed flawlessly and without fail. I have mine paired to a Fin Nor Lethal 100 reel with 50lb braid and this is THE number 1 rod I always pack when going drone fishing. I always come back to this rod because it is THAT good. The Valkyrie is super light to hold in the hand thanks to its carbon fibre construction and is strong enough to handle some very big fish. When you do hook a solid fish you can tell how well it is built and this gives confidence to the fisher during those long fights. It's a great feeling knowing you have the right tool in hand when you do hook up, even if it is just to drag in a ray! The Fuji guides and reel seat, along with the EVA grips compliment the rod perfectly making it a drone fishos dream. And even if not using the rod for drone fishing, they really do cast quite well as a surf rod. If you are looking for a dedicated drone fishing rod that can also cast a mile, look no further than the Valkyrie. You won't be disappointed! Danglers
The EX-1 6s Cuta-Copter is a fantastic machine & can't believe how easy it is to operate, I'd never flown a drone before. I purchased this drone on a recommendation from a mate who has a previous model Cuta-Copter, I practiced with it at the local park for 2 batteries & then I did 2 batteries with a 2.25 litre coke bottle swinging underneath, I couldn't believe how stable it was with the extra weight. Then I took it to the local beach & sent it out twice with a 1.2 kg payload to 450 metres & 500 metres ,It was so easy 🙂 I highly recommend Tony & Ultimate Drone Fishing , Tony was awesome, answering my all questions (As a newbie I had a few) & organising express freight to New Zealand. 10/10 to Cuta-Copter for a great product & 10/10 to UDF for great customer service & Support 🙂
